Why I love Pansies

When I see pansies I think -- Spring is Finally Here!!

This is the only flower that comes in just about every color imaginable! We often think of purple and yellow, but pansies come in pure white, pure yellow, gold, pink, red, maroon, lavender, blue, and lots of variations.

Bee’s Pesto Recipe

2 good handfuls of fresh basil leaves

2 cloves garlic

Dash salt

1 oz. pine nuts

1 oz. Parmesan cheese

4 or 5 Tablespoons good olive oil

Add first 4 ingredients to food processor; process to crush to paste. Add Parmesan cheese first, then add olive oil. Serve at room temperature on pasta or green vegetables.
